Please change 'Jamaican coloured' to 'black African-Caribbean'. 'Coloured is no longer used (we are all coloured!).
I think you need to add to this by exploring how your representation of gender challenges so stereotypes of femininity by presenting a teen female as an assertive subject, rather than a passive object. Discuss this with me if you need to.
